HISTORY
In 1984, Rinck Heule founded PrintSystems Inc. an independent print brokerage, after working three years as a sales rep for a small printing firm in Grand Rapids, MI.
Jason Gordon joined the firm in 1990 and the name was changed to HeuleGordon, Inc., signifying the addition of graphic design and pre-press services. The design studio was recognized with several prestigious awards in the graphic arts industry.
Between 1984 and 2010, the firm grew steadily into one of the largest and most profitable print management and graphic design companies in the country; a team of sales executives, production experts and designers unrivaled in the industry, with clients in every state and abroad.
Carl Heule joined the firm in 2004. While the firm's first "print pilgrimage" to Hong Kong happened in 1992, with Carl was instrumental in reaching the full potential East Asia offered to our US clients. The firm forged strong partnerships with the finest printing facilities in Hong Kong, Japan, S. Korea, Singapore and China.
In 2010, the firm was purchased by InnerWorkings™ (NASDAQ: INWK), a $1B global brand management company.
Rinck remained with Innerworkings™ as senior account executive, specialized in international print procurement. While serving corporate clients, he missed the creative challenges, both in design and engineering, of luxury coffee table books. He retired from Innerworkings™ (now HH. Global, Inc) in 2023.

"M.J. Jacobs LLC embodies my vision of a boutique studio specialized in the design and production of coffee table books and art catalogs of unparalleled quality."
